Being Right with God:

How Can I be Right with God?

What would you say to God if you were to face Him today and He asks you, “Why should I let you into my Heaven? We can know the answer by looking at God’s Word. What does the Bible teach us about Salvation? I would like to share with you some essential truths from God’s Word:

God’s Word teaches that…
1. We are sinners in need of Salvation. Romans 3:23 clearly tells us that, “ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

2. God loved you so much that He sent His Son Jesus to offer you a way to be right with God and to have Eternal life. The Bible states it this way,

“For God so loved the world that He GAVE His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” –

John 3:16

3. Jesus is the only way to God.  Jesus came to earth to make it possible for us to be RIGHT with God, not based on our good works, but based on what Jesus did for us.  Jesus said,

“I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father except by me.”

– John 14:6

4. Jesus loved you so much that He gave His life, including EVERY Drop of His Blood on Calvary’s Cross for your sin.  He DIED in our place.

“Christ also hath suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.”

-1 Peter 3:18

5. Salvation is a free gift to all who will receive it,

“As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name.”

– John 1:12

6. We all needed to make a change in our life and follow God’s Guidance,

“Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.”

– Acts 26:20

7. You can make the best decision of your life and accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord by following God’s Word in Romans 10:9-10,

“That if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with  your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”

8. By accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you have received God’s free gift of eternal life and are now right with God. Next you need to live for God. As Christians we are expected to do the Will of God. The Bible tells us that,

“Not everyone who saith to me Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which art in Heaven.”

– Matthew 7:21

But how can I do the Will of God? Really it is simple to know God’s Will, Study the Bible, Pray and attend Christian Worship Services every Sunday! The Bible is God’s Holy Word and is spiritual nourishment for the believers in Jesus Christ. God’s Holy Spirit will teach you.

Accepting Jesus as Savior: I want to be right with God!

If you would like to accept Jesus into you life and have your life changed forever…If you want to know for sure that you will go to Heaven, then take the moment and repeat this prayer:

Father God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that you sent Jesus down from Heaven and that He lived a life free from sin. I know that He was crucified for my sins and that He rose from the grave three days later and He now reigns in Heaven. I know that I am a sinner and in need of forgiveness. Please forgive me of my sins. I am willing and wanting to turn away from my sins and ask Jesus to come into my life as my Savior and LORD. Jesus, you are my Lord and Savior. Please guide and lead me into the life that you want me to live. Thank you for saving me and forgiving me of my sins.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Congratulations! Welcome to the family of GOD! If you sincerely prayed this prayer, you have just made the most important decision of your life! You can be sure you are saved and have eternal life in Heaven!

The Bible says,

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess are are saved.”

– (Romans 10:9-10)
