How Can I Receive Eternal Life?

What would you say to God if you were to face Him today and He asks you, “Why should I let you into my Heaven? We can know the answer by looking at God’s Word. What does the Bible teach us about Salvation? I would like to share with you some essential truths from God’s Word:

God’s Word teaches that…

1. We are sinners in need of Salvation. Romans 3:23 clearly tells us that, “ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

2. God loved you so much that He sent His Son Jesus to offer you Eternal life. The Bible states it this way, “For God so loved the world, thta He gave His only begotton Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

3. Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father except by me.” – John 14:6

4. Jesus loved you so much that He gave His life on Calvary’s Cross for your sin. “Christ also hath suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.” -1 Peter 3:18

5. Salvation is a free gift to all who will receive it, “As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name.” – John 1:12

6. We all needed to make a change in our life and follow God’s Guidance, “Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” – Acts 26:20

7. You can make the best decision of your life and accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord by following God’s Word in Romans 10:9-10, “That if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with  your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”

8. By accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you have received God’s free gift of eternal life and you now live for God. As Christians we are expected to do the Will of God. The Bible tells us that, “Not everyone who saith to me Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which art in Heaven.” – Matthew 7:21

But how can I do the Will of God? Really it is simple to know God’s Will, Study the Bible, Pray and attend Christian Worship Services every Sunday! The Bible is God’s Holy Word and is spiritual nourishment for the believers in Jesus Christ. God’s Holy Spirit will teach you.

Accepting Christ as Savior:

My Salvation

If you would like to accept Jesus into you life and have your life changed forever, in the most beautiful and amazing way… If you want to know for sure that you will go to Heaven, then repeat this prayer and mean it in your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner.

I know that you are the Son of God.

I believe that you died on the cross for our sins and you rose from the dead.

I know that I am a sinner and in need of forgiveness.

I am willing to turn away from my sins that I have done and I ask of you, Jesus, to come into my heart.

Jesus, you are my Lord and Savior.

Thank you for saving me and forgiving me of my sins.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

If you have said that prayer and truly meant it, Congratulations!
Welcome to the family of GOD!
If you sincerely prayed this prayer, you have just made the most amazing and important decision of your life!!!
You can be sure you are saved and have eternal life in Heaven! You now have a future and a wondrous eternity with God and all of the believers! We are so proud of you!!!

The Bible says,

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess are are saved.”

– (Romans 10:9-10)

The road to Heaven will never be easy, but it will be 100% worth it! When the journey is done, when you have giving all that you have to God, you will receive the ultimate praise from God Himself! How amazing will that day be?!

Baptism

As a sign of your new life in Jesus you will want to confess Him publicly through Believer’s Baptism, “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized…”

– Acts 2:41a

Please understand the Believer’s Baptism is not necessary for Salvation, but it is simply an outward sign of an inward change. It is a public proclamation that you are a Christian. Believer’s Baptism lets the world know that you are a follower of Christ. You can be baptized at the church of your choosing.
